People keep pulling the fire alarm in the Patriots' hotel in the middle of the night

For the second time in three nights, the New England Patriots were awoken in their hotel by a false fire alarm. On Tuesday, the alarm sounded at 1:30 a.m. for approximately 10 minutes.

There's nothing in the NFL rule book against it, so using Cheatriot logic, it's fair to do.

Actually, as much as I dislike the Cheatriots**, that isn't cool. It inconveniences other hotel guests and if the local FD is responding to it, then it's wasting their time and could be keeping them from a real emergency.

How deflating to find out you have been woken up from a nice sleep by a false fire alarm.

Even more deflating if you are not able to fall back asleep before you actually have to get up.

It's probably Gronk having after party fun during one of his drunken stupors.

That makes absolutely no sense.

The most logical conspiracy theory would be somebody from the Sehaawks hotel sneaking over to pull a prank on the Patriots. Why would a player want to wake up his teammates like that?

It was meant to be tongue-in-cheek or not taken seriously. A joke.

Next time I recommend adding this to prevent further confusion:  :teehee: I call it the sarcasm emoticon because people use it that way.

I could see where one could honestly believe that, but I have been around here long enough to know that the sarcasm meter is broken for at least a poster or 2, maybe even 3.

I'm still sort of new here and really don't know people's personalities, quirks, etc.  I'm not here to start trouble. I'm here mostly to talk some football with other fans and crack the occasional joke.  Smile

Tom Brady said he never woke up either night, so I doubt he would be affected. But maybe some guys who are not sick would wake up.

Well that's kind of a bad sign, you know, just in case it wasn't a FALSE alarm.

Sleeping through a real fire alarm is not something anyone should do.
