Football Gameplan's 2015 NFL Mock Draft Video - January

Good morning Jaguar fans! Here's my latest mock draft video. Enjoy! Em We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Em...thanks for the preliminary mock video.
For the Jags, you chose Randy Gregory, whereas I would have chosen Leonard Williams. Arguments could be made for both, and neither would be a bad choice. With Bryant aging/slowing, and Alualu being a free agent, I think LDE is more a need for the Jags, and Williams is the perfect fit. Gregory would be a Leo/RDE in the Jag's scheme, and the rotation of Clemons and Branch rumors to be fine for another year. My surprise in your mock was C Andy Gallick. He's a good player, but I would not have chose him before Cameron Erving. Erving has more size and also gives a team positional versatility.
Quote:Em...thanks for the preliminary mock video. Thanks ATL! I can't argue with you if you chose Erving…dude made the position switch of a lifetime this year Quote:Thanks for the post, I always enjoy your videos. Thanks Scooby!
Thanks a lot for this video. I like the way you throw sleepers in there, unlike so many other mock drafts. I could see Caldwell taking Gregory in your scenario, but I agree with an earlier post indicating Williams would be the pick. He's a more versatile player who can stop the run as well as rush the passer. This may be the year the Jags actually agree to trade back, especially if Mariotta is still on the board.
One player who is still on the board after round 1 is Erik Flowers from Miami. What are your thoughts on him and the Jaguars selecting him with their second pick ? If not him, who would be some other possibilities in round 2? Thanks. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Thanks a lot for this video. I think Flowers, along with Feliciano & McDermott are tremendous players….in that order. I think Flowers has a bright future. Looking also at you guys' CBs and it wouldn't surprise me to see you take a Golson or Imoan Claiborne (NW State) Quote:Good job diggs Thanks Trunt!

Em. I think the GM likes his young developing CBs, Colvin, McCray, and Gratz. They signed veteran Will Blackmon, who has played OK in limited action, to assist the youth, to a 2 year deal last March. Although journeyman Alan Ball is an unrestricted free agent, I would not be surprised to see the Jags re-sign him, as he plays well in their system. If they don't re-sign Ball, then maybe I see a later round draft pick used on a CB....but I doubt it.
