Social tax breaks equal around $1.2trillion. Add actual federal welfare to the individual social tax breaks and you are approaching $trillion. Yeah, not even close!

No it won't. Some people are just lazy and just don't want to work. They wanna skate through life and have others pay their way. That's a fact..


You know what can constitute as an affordable wage? 40 hours a week and a good budget. I had to rely on that for years. Why can't the majority?

Lessen it, yes, just like not buying a pack of gum will strengthen my personal financial situation.   But not much.  There's just not enough of it. 

 

If you add up military spending, medicare, and social security, that's gotta be about 90% of federal spending. 

 

So "getting welfare under control" is just picking around the edges.
