Big Cat Country: "Jaguars hope to hire Adam Gase, Doug Marrone, and Greg Olson as offensive assistants."

Other sources report that the running for Adam Gase as OC is just between us and Baltimore now. All three have been in Jacksonville. I would feel like a little spoiled kid on Christmas if we could hire all three of them. WOW.

This would certainly explain why it is the Jaguars have had such a broad grouping of interviews.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Looks like Shad and Gus are swinging for the fences with all of the hopeful hires. I'd love to see it happen.

Don't want Blake learning a new offense.

maybe in 2 years he will know the plays, because that's how long it takes.

On paper it would sound good, but it may be a case of too many chiefs not enough indians.  Depending on their personalities things could clash.

Guys with NFL experience at the main offensive coaching positions:

OC Gase

OLine Marrone

QB? Olson

WR Sullivan

I love it. If this happens I'd be very hopeful for next year.

You run that risk any time you're bringing in guys who have strong experience.  The guys need to know their role.  If they can't accept that, odds are they won't be hired to fill the spots.

I wouldn't mind bringing somebody from GB who helps with the offensive line.  Their pass blocking is unreal.  They have somehow figured out a way to hold the rushers without ever getting called.

Agree. Similiar to any workplace. Everyone jas to understands the order of operations and work within that.

Their line was so bad a couple of years ago too.

They probably have them holed up on Shad's yacht, waiting for the Man to arrive. Maybe after today they board a jet for Alabama.
