I like Hardy for this team at LDE because he can actually rush the passer from there unlike Bryant and Alualu. Same with Suh and Miller. It would be nice to have 4 every down pass rushers on the line. As it sits now, we get no pressure from LDE and Miller's dt spot except on passing downs when we rotate specialists like Ryan Davis in there.

Ummm, because they are playing the run?

The Jaguars have asked for $1 million annually for 30 years to upgrade the concession stands at the stadium and possibly reconstruct the club seating areas

I see DT Leo Williams as being drafted working next to S. Marks would be fun to watch this upcoming season.

Quote:I know Bowanko is replaceable.

He received decent praise along with Linder as two of our better Oline guys towards the end...

why not let him try to be better next season before replacing him. and use that 2nd rounder on a S, LB, DL starter

If we sign Bulaga we can keep Paz, if Luke gets hurt Bulaga has played LT, if Bulaga gets hurt Paz slides in there.

We need Linder and Bowanko to take a step forward but we don't need to find any replacements for interior guys in this draft... imo
I think Paz is done here. He is going to want to be paid like a starter and I doubt we are going to be willing to invest that in him unless we strike out in free agency.

Because that's what they do. They aren't consistently effective in rushing the passer. Neither will ever sniff 10 sacks, but Hardy regularly sees 10 plus sacks and is equally as effective against the run.

Definitely fun... Like watching Stroud and Henderson dominate the Dline.

Big John was fun but I think Leo Williams & Marks would be even better!

In one of my dream scenarios we would sign Suh, Greg Hardy, draft Leonard Williams, and spend every other resource available on the offensive line.

Fiscally irresponsible sure, but totally dominating? Absolutely.

Sounds like a Washington Redskins offseason.

Not really sure about this year's market as far as free agency goes. As far as draft choices. This is what I'd like to see.

RD1: Amari Cooper - WR - Alabama

RD2: Toddy Gurley - RB - Georgia

RD3: Nick O'Leary - TE - FSU

Idk. I only suggested signing two players: one that is arguably the best at his position in the NFL, and one who was near the top at his position before being suspended.both of which are young. Washington liked to overpay for big names that were past their primes.

I'd love Suh but wouldn't want any piece of Hardy, he's a great player but a disgusting person, the details of his domestic violence incident are disturbing. The Jaguars should definitely make an attempt to sign Suh, he's the best interior defensive lineman in the league (by far), add a LEO like Jason Pierre-Paul/Jerry Hughes and draft Leonard Williams, now that would be a nasty defensive line capable of winning games by itself.

I would seriously be sooo ticked off if this happened.

Here is my hope scenario with a bit of realism mixed in...

QB Bortles, backup/Moore (FA) ...time to get a good backup, not comfortable with Henne one play away.

RB Robinson, Gurley (3rd) ...if Gurley falls as some speculate, a homerun in a devalued but still important position.

FB Ta'ufo'ou (FA) ...cheap re-signing to fill the role.

WR1 Blackmon ...assuming he is able to join the team.

WR2 Robinson

WR3 Lee

TE Lewis, Cameron (FA) ...a true 'move' TE weapon for Bortles.

LT Joeckel

LG Beadles

OC Bowanko

RG Linder

RT Bulaga (FA) ...pay the man, protect the QB, open holes, veteran presence.

LDE Williams (1st) ...an added beast on the DL, versatile, best non-QB player in the draft.

LDT Marks

RDT Miller

RDE Clemons

WLB Smith

MLB Posluszny

Otto Mauldin (2nd) ...my flyer pick, under-rated hustler, fills departed Watson-hoped role.

CB Colvin

CB Gratz

CB McCray

FS Moore (FA) ...upgrades Evans, adds young talented veteran into secondary.

SS Cyprien

Fair enough. I haven't read into the details of Hardys situation, but I would definitely be ok adding JPP instead.

Id be really surprised if NE doesn't resign McCourty, which sucks because R Moore is really average and will probably be expensive.

Well he's also way better than we got. I'll take 5 total picks inc playoffs any year.
