par for the course for alfie....
Nobody is accusing him of being a comedy writer.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:Agreed.  This came out of left field, but hopefully BCC got it right.  He'd be a great hire for this team.   His background in coaching OL would be a huge get for this team.
He's also worked with the young WRs in Buffalo.

I sure hope he ends up our OC.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

nobody has ever even accused him of being a sports writer.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I think he's a tad closer to that reality than anyone else on this board.  He's the only poster on this site aside from a couple of ex players who actually has access inside the ropes.

<p class="">Per <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/ryanohalloran'>@<b>ryanohalloran</b></a> (whose phone is dead): Former Bills coach Doug Marrone was at stadium today. Potential OL coach candidate for <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash'>#<b>Jaguars</b></a>?

What is up with his OL coach suggestions?

I think it would be for the OC spot, not the OL coach

I'm guessing he was poking fun of Ryan O's suggestion that Callahan would come here to coach the line.

No telling. I doubt they'd seriously bring him in to interview for a position that technically isn't open at the moment, although I would suspect that will change.  I don't see Marrone interviewing for anything but the OC position.  His background as an OL coach will benefit this team greatly if he's hired.

And if we can somehow land these guys like Callahan and Marrone to be our offensive line coach, why in the world have we been stuck with these bozos like Jedd and Bob and Butkus and Mallory....

I think you need to put the OL thing on Hays Carlyon.  It's his tweet.
