Odd that Bragan did not sell to a local buyer.

Cool -- we can renovate the stadium in preparation of upgrading the Armada to MLS status in 2-3 years.

Imagine a 20,000 seat stadium with just a lower bowl like the Portland Timbers have.

Sounds like the offer wasn't enough.  I don't blame him.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Dang !!  I want the Suns off of my radio.  Nothing worse then getting ready to tune into some sports talk radio only to find out they are broadcasting the Suns vs the Biscuits, Lookouts, Wahoos, or Smokies

Yeah, even the guy trying to buy understood why he turned it down.

It's always fun to go to a couple games a year.

That sounds nice but 20,000 is large even for an MLS team, the Armada is in the third tier of soccer competition. If they get 5,000 per game they might be the best attended team in their league.

There are currently 15 (Orlando will make 16) MLS teams with seating capacities over 20,000. Of Those current 15, eight of those average 20,000 plus and NY averages 19,500. The MLS league average per game is at just under 20K at 19, 151. Numbers have only jumped each year. MLS is catching hold in the U.S. sports market.

But yes, if the Armada could 3,000-4,000 per game that would be pretty good.

The stadium is owned by the city.  Who owns the Suns is not a factor.

Actually they would be below average. Last year the average attendance for the NASL was 5,267 for the Spring seasn and the average for the Fall season was 5,619. I think their goal was 7,000. I think that may be high. As I recall I had heard several months ago that they had sold 3,000 season tickets, which I am sure has increased as the season draws closer.

Over 60K in the Citrus bowl for Orlando City SC-New York City SC. Was impressive. Good game too.

Orlando did 62k last week. It's only going to continue to grow in popularity. I'd like the armada to play in everbank and help the jags with upkeep of the stadium some, and get to put the boards to good use years round. This would help the Jags, save the city the cost of building a new facility and give the Armada a world class facility for soccer.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.
