Eh, Kinda hope we don't go with Roman.  If we do though, I hope he succeeds.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Could mean a return of Gabbert :teehee:

Alot of shine has definitely come off of Roman after this season.

He sort of seemed like the obvious choice. I'd prefer Trestman but Roman at least has experience.

Is there a Rooney Rule for offensive coordinators?   I'm not saying anything negative about Kirby Wilson, but he's only been a RB coach in the past.   I'm wondering what would put him on this list.  Running backs coach for Pats, Skins, Bucs, Cards, Steelers, and Vikings.

Does anyone know how many OCs were interviewed before Fisch was hired?   And how many Coaches were interviewed before Gus?

He seems a better fit than Kirby Wilson.  That just seems way out in left field.  No OC experience and no history developing QBs.

Not a fan of hiring a RB coach (even if impressive) for our OC position. I want someone involved with passing. Roman would be a decent choice.
Can't wait to see whats next.

Greg Roman is getting head coaching interviews.  But I'm still not understanding what makes him such a good candidate.

I agree, however just a year ago people were praising Roman as an offensive genius for the work he and J. Harb did with Alex Smith and Colin K, I doubt he's forgotten how to coach that side of the ball. The more likely scenario behind the 49ers offensive woes in 2014 is Colin Kaepernick, he's severly limited as a pocket passer, much like RGIII, those kind of QB's are coach killers. I'd be estatic if we hired Greg Roman, I'd feel he'd do wonders for Blake Bortles.

I'd prefer Wilson. At least with Wilson there is an unknown. He could be a great playcaller. Roman is average at best.
