Former Jaguars in the post season this year
|
Which former Jaguar do you feel will play the best this week?
Ravens LT Eugene Monroe (Injured will not play this week) LB Daryl Smith RB Justin Forsett (barely a jag by one year) Cowboys RDE J. Mincey LB Dekota Watson Justin Durant (is on injured reserve list)-noteable mention Broncos DT Pot Roast T. Knighton DC Jack Del Rio-noteable mention Panthers DT - Kyle Love Of course they are kicked out of the playoffs but R. Mathis CB had a great game until he got injured against the Cowboys. Can we include coaches? JDR, Joe DeCamillis, and Dom Capers are in the playoffs.
I counted 33 former Jaguars on playoff teams including executives, coaches, practice squad players, and players on injured reserve. Eleven were eliminated in the wild card round, so there are 22 left. Players we definitely will not see are Winston Guy (Colts PS), D'Anthony Smith (Seahawks PS), Will Rackley (Ravens IR), and Justin Durant (Cowboys IR). We may not see Eugene Monroe or Brandon Marshall either. If the purpose of this thread is to track player performances, we should exclude Durant, Guy, Rackley, and the three coaches. The Broncos don't know yet if Marshall can play against the Colts Sunday. Someone said in Wolfie's thread the Patriots have a former Jaguar, but I forget his name and position.
Former Jaguars on current playoff teams:
Ravens Justin Forsett Daryl Smith Eugene Monroe Will Rackley (IR) Broncos Jack Del Rio Terrance Knighton Brandon Marshall Cowboys Joe DeCamillis Jeremy Mincey George Selvie Justin Durant (IR) Packers Dom Capers Jarrett Boykin DuJuan Harris Chris Banjo Panthers Kyle Love Seahawks Tony McDaniel Patrick Lewis D'Anthony Smith (PS) Colts Jeris Pendleton Winston Guy (PS) Patriots Patrick Connolly Did I miss anybody? Thanks MissJagsFanatic I figured I had forgotten a few....
It does make you wonder .... you know how we have been in an endless rebuilding process yet so many Jaguars wind up doing good on other teams....

I was thinking about doing a former Jaguars tracker thread for the whole 2015 season if anyone is better than me at finding individual per-game statistics. See if that can be done with all of the players for the wild card games.
