The University of Florida releases quarterback Jeff Driskel
 

New Gators coach Jim McElwain confirmed Saturday that University of Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel has asked for and received a release from his scholarship, according to ESPN.

Thank God the Driskel experiment is over at UF. Really nice kid and I wish him well, but not sad to see him go!!
