You're talking about two teams that were ranked in the top five halfway into the regular season. Baylor's only loss was to unranked West Viriginia, who almost beat TCU. I would still pick Alabama to win.

 

The same thing can be said about the Rose Bowl. How did Oregon get so lucky to play against Florida State, who almost lost to several unranked teams including Boston College and Florida? What if a Big 12 team was in Pasadena?
