Tony Grossi tweeted earlier this morning that the vibe after the Browns press conference this morning is that they are going to cut bait with Gordon. If you're Dave Caldwell, do you risk signing him?

Yes, but only with a contract that makes him actually play.

Guy has Demarius Thomas / Calvin Johnson kind of physical ability.

His problem is he needs the carrot held out in front of him to get him moving. Any team signing him to a deal that doesn't make him work for his money will regret it.

uh, no, not on this team. the guy is a cancer and would especially be to a young roster still trying to figure out how to win like this. the only places that can take a chance on him are teams like the Patriots.

Gordon wouldn't come here.

Pass

I would. What's he honestly going to destroy here anyway? Similar case as Blackmon and besides a high draft pick..Blackmon never ruined any locker room. Bradley could get the guy to play

I wanted them to trade for him before he got suspended. I figured one of him or Blackmon would figure it out. That hasn't turned out to be the case unfortunately.

One team that I can envision taking a chance on Josh Gordon is the Vikings.  Norv Turner is the Vikings Offensive Coordinator.  He was the Browns Offensive Coordinator in 2013,  a season in which Gordon was very productive despite a far less than stellar QB situation.

Pass.  We already have one of those.

Pass. Lets first see if our own troubled Wide out can come back before Gordon gets his indefinite suspension.

I would like to see how the whole Justin Blackmon situation turns out.

He's going to go to the Seahawks and get his act together and they are going to become even more unstoppable.

If he's interested in a low-salary, no-bonus deal with heavy incentives based upon difficult things like being on the roster each week, sure he's worth a flyer in the offseason. Thing is, he's not going to be interested in a contract like that, and I'd like to hope Caldwell knows better than to sign Gordon to the type of contract some "one player away" team will give him.

Guys dont come to Jville on that kind of contract unless their desperate. Gordon will not be desparate, he will be headed to one of the contenders.

New England , Seattle , Arizona or Carolina are to me his most likely landing spots.

Dont want him here at all. We already have a idiot mega stud WR sitting around and i dont feel he would vibe with Bradleys "love of football"mantra.

Our idiot WR is not even close to the same class of talent as their idiot WR though.
