Of course he's gone, why would the Jaguars resign him? He's on of the worst receivers in the league.

Thank the lord.

LOL.  All those people posted on his page said "please, don't go."  They must be rival fans.

It seems to me he knows he won't be back. Truthfully, I think he deserves better. Hopefully someone like the Patriots sign him to really see his potential.

Deserves better? Why is that exactly? When he wasn't injured, he was dropping passes, when he was supposed to be the veteran receiver...

Deserves better.....give me a break.

I just saw that. He will go somewhere else and have a good yr. As much as some like to think he doesn't suck. And he's far from the worst in the league. I do understand the move tho.

He wasn't ever healthy with the Jaguars. Just watch if he goes to a team with a great QB he will finally see 1000 yds in a single season

Your acting like we put him in the best position possible to succeed.

Shorts had this season to prove himself worthy of another deal. He did nothing to warrant an extension. He's dropped his last pass in a Jags uniform.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

This could be said for a lot of receivers. He didn't step up and prove himself as a #1 and was outshined by a rookie.

He is not officially gone until the new league year starts on March 10, but it is safe to assume the Jaguars are letting him find a job somewhere else.

He'll go home to Cleveland.

I think Carolina would be a good fit to.

Hopefully with Blackmon coming back we really don't need to mess around with WR. Maybe finding a reliable TE thats a threat down the field would be nice.

He was one of our best players the last couple of years but he had a down year this year and it was his contract year.  The injuries along with the dropsies I dont see him being back unless he signs a 2 or 3 mil. deal.  I think he would a good slot WR or a 4th WR if Lee improves next year

Relly isn't worth it to sign him, slowly we are getting rid of Gene players.
