Surprised they haven't been mentioned much here.
Yep. I haven't forgotten about "bottle-gate".

Eagles and it's not even close.

I went to the Giants/Eagles Sunday night game with my brother who's a giant fan and I've never seen anything like that. The women were yelling at him, they were fighting with each other, and even the cops were calling him a [BLEEP]!!

Worst experience ever and I will never go back. It's like they take pride in being the low class of the NFL. Unbelievable. So happy they didn't make the playoffs!

It was obviously an incomplete pass. Their's nothing controversial about it. If anything, the Browns fans that day showed how trashy, and uneducated the city of Cleveland and the surrounding area really is.

I remember hearing a story that the Eagles fans who visited Jacksonville for the Super Bowl were totally unclassy, and disrespectful to the city.

I've got a soft spot for Cleveland fans, something about our unison of suck should bring us together.

Bottle Game, not Bottle-gate. There was no scandal resulting in severe punishment like Spygate and Bountygate. The end result was several teams requiring plastic cups and banning fourth quarter beer sales.

A former supervisor who grew up in northeast Ohio told me he hates the Jaguars because they were the opponent in that game and would have thrown a bottle of beer if he was in the Dawg Pound. He was one of my favorite supervisors all-time, but of course I hated hearing that. Fortunately I did not hear any other Browns fans say the same thing, but would be surprised if no one agrees with him.

I read in The Columbus Dispatch 13 bottle throwers were arrested for disorderly conduct. Why only 13? There were literally hundreds oif beer bottles littering the end zone. There were no reports of future arrests.

Browns fans were mad at Terry McAulay for allowing another play to run before announcing he was buzzed to review the incomplete pass. I totally understand it: The ruling on the field was a first down, then the next play was a first down, so he took away two first downs in the red zone. Who would not be mad at McAulay for that? They are wrong to believe he single-handedly gave the game to us, but had every right to be mad at him - just no right to throw their beer bottles.

We'll get there once the Jaguars start winning. Seems to go with the territory.

Quote:Who do you think are the most obnoxious fans in the league? I'll go first:

5) Seahawks

4) Steelers

3) 49ers

2) Tie Cowboys/Eagles

1) Patriots

At least one of the good things about us Jags fans is that nobody has anything particularly negative to say about us (save for Titans fans but that's expected). Most other fanbases don't even notice us lol.
Agree with seahawks, steelers, eagles. Those definitely seem to be the top for me. The others are a level below.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

By a million miles. Add all 30 teams together and the bad fans will not equal this base.

Quote:Since 2009, they've become a fanbase full of bandwagon fans. Just like the Hawks and 9ers.

This is a fear of mine about our beloved Jags. When we start winning games in January again, will these bandwagon fans ruining our rep as fans?

Also, I went to the Bills @ Raiders game Sunday in Oakland, the mass amount of raiders fans we ok. We were there as Bills fans, my mom in full red white and blue in a sea of silver and black. But they were cool. Like 1 in a 1000 was a dick.

Most obnoxious fans imo is the Giants. My family is in NYC, trust me, they are obnoxious.

Hear's a topic on the Seachickens forum where they're talking about the Rams and their alleged "cheating". http://www.seahawks.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=104152

And another topic where they accuse the Rams of "Head-hunting". http://www.seahawks.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=104099

Now I can understand why they might be upset, but the snobbishness that they show, and the overall arrogance that they all share in what they feel is a "guaranteed" victory makes my blood boil with anger and contempt.
