Pot Roast promises Super Bowl win

Quote:“It doesn’t matter what happens. At the end of the year, we’re hoisting that trophy,” Knighton said. “I don’t care if New England doesn’t lose again. I don’t care where we have to play. I don’t care who our opponent is. We’re not going to be satisfied until we hoist that trophy. So if we’ve got to go to New England [in the playoffs] and win somewhere we’re not used to winning, we’re going to make it happen.” With Payton already showing signs of fading down the final stretch I'm willing to wager Pot Roast will be eating these words.

Fat boy feeling his oats. Good for him. Denver will not win the Superbowl. The five headed, jug dome, milk belly will choke it up as usual.
Looking to troll? Don't bother, we supply our own.

Quote:You are blind if you think we are not improving, The signs are obvious to anyone who watches Jaguars games. but yet you had to question someone why they said blake had one of his best games.... got it. troll on
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Quote:You are blind if you think we are not improving, The signs are obvious to anyone who watches Jaguars games. Even the coach and its players say they don't put any stock in "moral victories". You tend to walk the company line like John O, so why are you putting stock in moral victories?
A DT should not be making guarantees
I mean, if peyton wants to, thats fine since its mostly under his control
Pot roast has been smoking too much of his first name I see.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:A DT should not be making guarantees Peyton Manning has no more control of it than Terrance Knighton. The only man who does is John Fox.
Quote:Pot roast has been smoking too much of his first name I see. What the hell is Terrance, how do you smoke it, and where can I get some? Quote:Peyton Manning has no more control of it than Terrance Knighton. The only man who does is John Fox. ya ok
Uh, don't you have to use the word "promise" or "guarantee" in order to make a promise or a guarantee?
He expects to win. Big deal. Why wouldn't he? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Tom Brady's response:
Quote:‘Well, Pot Roast is a big man and I would never say anything that would get him mad at me, but I’ll just say there’s a lot of football left to be played. My Dad always told me ‘well done is better than well said,'” Brady said. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/16/tom-brady-on-terrance-knighton-well-done-is-better-than-well-said/

Memo to Pot Roast: Focus on getting ready for the Broncos road game against the Bengals.
Quote:Uh, don't you have to use the word "promise" or "guarantee" in order to make a promise or a guarantee? Nope. When Jim Fassel said, "We will go to the playoffs," that was called a guarantee by the media.
Quote:Memo to Pot Roast: Focus on getting ready for the Broncos road game against the Bengals. I am not worried about that. What Knighton said does not affect the Bengals in any way. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Knighton can make all the promises he wants. He's got a QB on the roster who has a gift for finding ways to avoid the big game most of the time. If they have to travel to New England, Knighton may go to the Super Bowl, but he'll have to buy a ticket to keep his promise.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If they have to travel to New England, Knighton may go to the Super Bowl, but he'll have to buy a ticket to keep his promise. That would not be keeping his promise because Knighton specifically said he will "hoist the trophy." Remember the Broncos had to beat the Patriots to get to Super Bowl 48. One reason they did was Pot Roast.
Quote:Nope. When Jim Fassel said, "We will go to the playoffs," that was called a guarantee by the media. I think you are wrong. Otherwise there would be no point in having those words in the English language at all. |
