Klinsman Shaking Up The Youth Ranks Of US Soccer
|
This is where Klinsmann real work begins in my opinion. The moves all seem to be very good, and should pay off for the future of US soccer.

Gedion Zelalem gets his American citizenship. Will probably be the USMNT brightest young star when he starts his play with the national team. Good luck for Klinsmann. I really think Klinsmann pursues these dual citizenship guys hard. This one paid off.

It's all a numbers game. If we get enough young people participating in these top flight academies with top-of-the-line coaching, we'll be a competitor on the world stage. Right now the numbers aren't there and if one top prospect doesn't make it we have a major setback.
