Looks like our former DC and interim HC will be looking for a new job next year.

Chicago is just a mess. We're drafting in the top 5 again, but I still feel our situation could be worse. Our arrow could be pointing down (Redskins, Bears, 49ers, etc.). I'd rather be on the rise than on the decline or in QB purgatory
At least RGIII is on his rookie deal.
The Bears are handcuffed to Cutler with no key. Tucker is just a fall guy. Truth is the Bears had an elite defense and never drafted guys to adequately replace the likes of Urlacher, Briggs and Tillman.
I like Mel. The guy has the kind of attitude and team first mentality that makes him a great person to have on a coaching staff at the least.
The fact that he stayed in 2012 to continue on as the defensive coordinator under a new coach when it was clear he had few good players to work with was a testament to him. I hope he lands on his feet. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:I read Marc Trestman may not get a third season in Chicago. In that case I hope, probably in vain, that he'll replace Fisch next year. Trestman runs a more aggressive west-coast scheme than Fisch. He also has more experience, giving him more to draw on with game planning and in-game adjustments.

Quote:If not for Dan Snyder, the Bears would be the biggest mess in the NFL.oh i think the raiders might have a claim to that before the bears.
Quote:oh i think the raiders might have a claim to that before the bears.Nah, there was much more pressure in Chicago this year. Raiders really had no expecatations coming into this season. To be honest, I would think Raider fans like where they're headed We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
