NEW Jaguars analysis publication.

So I know they already got Big Cat Country for this, but I and a couple colleagues have started an NFL publication with writers for 32 teams. We are somewhat inspired by Bleacher Report/SB Nation but it's more freeform -- for example, the Redskins page (Political Pigskin) is more focused on a brash fan reaction to the Redskins' off the field moves, while mine (Jags to Riches) and the 49ers (Nobody Has It Better) are heavy on analyzing game film.

Check it out, I put a lot of effort into these articles! Its strategic, Xs and Os type game analysis -- I broke down the whole defense for the week 13 win versus the Giants:

I like the way you break it all down (no gibberish talk) so everyone has a better understanding.

I love it bro. Keep up the great work.

You might want to ask Pete Prisco and John Oehser for permission to use the name Jags to Riches. That is the title of their copyrighted book about how Jacksonville joined the NFL and its Cinderella season.

Titles don't get copyright protection.

I wonder if the Jaguars got permission from the estate of Upton Sinclair prior to naming this forum.

Do you think the Jacksonville Jaguars asked the Jaguars (the animal) for permission to use their name? Could have some copyright problems.

Nice work man! I'm bookmarking it.

Any chance Gratz can fill a need and become our FS?

Thanks for the feedback, you guys! I'll be sure to think of something other than Jags to Riches for a name -- didn't know the name was already planned for John Oehser's book.

Not sure if Gratz has the vision to be responsible for a deep zone like that. It's a hard responsibility to be a free safety -- it's your job to read the play (from a different spot on the field than Gratz is used to seeing) and be quick and smart enough to pick up anybody the rest of the defense doesn't notice slipping downfield. I think we just need to draft someone who is just a natural ballhawk and has been dominating that role in college. Not all of our later picks are gonna be steals like Telvin and Colvin were -- we need to spend a high pick on a top flight, highly instinctive, coverage specialist safety so Gus Bradley can add that Earl Thomas puzzle piece to his defense.
