Lee Corso

With each passing week he sounds more and more out of it.  It's almost painful at times to hear him speak up.  He'll slip in something thought provoking that adds to the conversation every now and then but not often enough.  I've always liked him but as they say father time is undefeated.  Hopefully this will be Corso's last year doing this.

Yeah. I feel bad for him. It is nice to see Herbstreit support him and not make it as awkward. I am surprised he is still doing it.

Had to look it up, he's 79. I'd a guessed younger actually. But yes, his time is nigh to step down.

Hopefully he takes Lou Holtz with him, those two are both ready for their trip to the pasture.

Corso is 79 and has had a stroke. Not a good combination.

From what I've read Corso remains popular and very well liked by his co-workers. I don't think ESPN really knows how to ease him out and they don't want to just fire him.

Perhaps those who know him best will figure out a way to have him jump before being pushed.

Or we'll just continue to see how goofy he is during any given week.

Maybe. However ... Bobby Bowden is still around.

I was attending Indiana University when he was the head coach, and I ran into him once, and talked to him a little, and he struck me as a really genuinely nice guy.   Especially since he took the time for a nerdy little dweeb like me.   He seemed like such an outgoing, happy, genuinely nice guy.

Even an age 79 Corso sounds smarter than Singletary.  wow.
