If y'all recall he was the special teams coordinator here for a few years under JDR and was arguably our best STs coordinator in our short history.

Sad news. He was a great special teams coach and a heck of a nice guy. The year the NFL Network made the Jaguars Summer program was Scobee's rookie year. I remember Rodriguez working with him a lot and even seemed to have faith in Scobee when he was struggling. His faith is still paying off for the team.

RIP.

Great ST coach for a very long time in the NFL, and a really nice guy. May his family find peace.

 Very sad news indeed.

The Jaguars have had some very good Special Teams coaches in their 20 year history.   Pete Rodriquez was high up on the list.   The late Frank Gansz Sr. also comes to mind immediately as one of the best Special Teams coaches the Jaguars and the NFL has seen.
