Thanksgiving Day NFL Games

#1

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Are you ready for some football?

There are three divisional matchups today:

12:30 Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

4:30 Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

8:30 Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

You can watch former Jaguars play in both afternoon games.

One of things I am thankful for today is having good football games to watch.

Bears fans must go crazy watching this offense. All those weapons and never throw more than ten yards downfield.

Jay Cutler passed 22 times for 170 yards in the first half.

D6 must be a happy man today. It is not as close as the score.

First time that I've ever noticed that there wasn't an AFC team represented in one of the two early games (nor in the late game).  Usually either the Cowboys or Lions host an AFC team and CBS as the AFC affiliate would carry the game.  Today, CBS carried the Bears/Lions game.

I don't think that has ever happened before or know why it was allowed to happen today. However there was at least one other NFC game (Panthers/Seahawks IIRC) on CBS earlier this season.

Today also was the first time CBS decided not to show the entire halftime performance or announce who the performers were. Fox showed the whole thing, which was PItbull rappers and Dallas cheerleaders.

A day of good games on paper turned out to be dreadful.

I turned off the Bears/Lions game after three quarters, but was a happy Cowboys hater after that.

Did you watch the Seahawks/49ers game?

Me too. I did not expect the Eagles to be that dominant.

And out of the playoffs as of right now. Hilarious.

And the offensive line didn't look so elite yesterday.

I knew if anybody could contain Murray, it is the Eagles. But I was not expecting it to look that pretty.
