JAKLA's 2015 Mock Draft 2.0

#1

Hi all. Wanted to share my second mock draft.

In this scenario, we end up picking first overall and trade back with the Jets or Giants or Bucs who look to move up to take Mariota for a first in 2016 and an additions second in 2015. I have us picking around the 5th or 6th spot in the first round.

1,5: Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson - we need linebackers.

2,1: Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan - would be a steal here.

2,5 ( from trade): Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville. Love this guy. Would be a day 1 starter.

3,1: AJ Johnson, MLB, Tennessee: good play with high ceiling.

4,1: Chaz Green, OT, Florida: I like him a lot and I think he could be a steal.

5,1: Eric Murray, CB, Minn: physical defender. Very under-rated.

6,1: Corey Crawford, DE, Clemson

7,1: k or qb

I think we get address some of these needs in FA but let me know what you think!

I love your second round picks if they fell that far.

Not a Beasley fan, and not fimiliar with most of the later picks.

Thanks for taking the time to put it together though.

A.J. Johnson got suspended from Tennessee on suspected rape charges. Not sure that works with our fanbase.

Ever since Oakland beat KC, I have been thinking about what the Jags might do with the No. 1 pick. If we keep it then I might go this route.

Rd 1; Leonard Williams - DE - USC - Would stick him at the LDE Position

Rd 2: Nate Orchard - DE - Utah - Would rotate him at the RDE Position

Rd 3: Ereck Flowers - OT - MIami - Would place him at ORT

Rd 4: Jake Ryan - ILB - Michigan - We need LB depth

Rd 5: Jeremy Langford - RB - Michigan State - RBs always seem to fall

Rd 6: Adam Snead - OG - Oklahoma

Rd 7: Rory Anderson - TE - South Caolina

Free Agents

1. Jermaine Gresham - TE - Cinc. - 6'5" 260 Lbs - 26 Yrs Old - Pair him with Marcedes and immediately help Bortles in the short passing game.

2. K. J. Wright - LB - Sea. - 6'4" 246 Lbs - 25 Yrs Old - Otto LB

3. Tashaun Gipson - FS - Cle - 5'11" 205 Lbs 24 Yrs old

Bortles had a leash on him.

I think the Jags are not concerned with winning.

It may be more prudent to complete the roster transformation.

Bortles can make plays but he has to have time to find a receiver.

Jaguars are lucky that next year's free agent list has several excellent tight ends. This position should be their number 1 priority with Julian Thomas being the best case scenerio if Denver can't afford him.
