What are our go to plays within the redzone?

#1

Seems stupidly difficult for BB5 to get passing touchdowns. Is it Blake,  our WRs, or does the playcalling just suck? Or is it all three?

How about we stop looking for someone to blame and realize that you just mentioned all rookies.

The one red zone play I wish they'd take out is the play where our QB throws the ball and someone on the other team catches it

We've had 53 plays in the Red Zone this year.  7 of which were against the Eagles and Redskins.  And 2 were against the Colts.  Leaving 46 red zone plays for Bortles (since becoming starter, though he had 2 against the Colts, and managed to score

Our go to play in the red zone is either the turnover or the FG.

I really hope Gus works on a lot of things during the by week, including the red zone.

Thanks for the info. Good stuff.

So 18 possessions with BB5 at the helm and 8 TD's. Around 45% efficiency which would put the team in the bottom 5 of the league. With a bunch of rookies starting (and a lack of experience even aside from the rookies), that's understandable. The troubling thing is the turnovers - 3 of them by my count.

Honestly that run down doesn't look as bad as I thought. Also thanks to the Doctor for putting that together.

Something other than the quick 5 yard slant would be nice.  The defense is already packed in so it's either a small gain or incomplete.  Play action or get him outside the pocket with his legs and either hit someone on the rollout or run it.

Run up the middle and short on the goal line or the throw the ball between 3 defenders for the INT.
