Los Angeles Chargers Hire Anthony Lynn As New Head Coach

#1

Hi, Jaguars fans! On the same day the Chargers franchise moved up I-5 to L.A, the Chargers hired former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn as their New Head Coach.

That's a good hire for them, but I feel sorry for Lynn because he's got to manage the move from SD to LA. That's a lot to deal with.

Sounds like he'll hire Whisenhunt as his OC, and Jag fan favorite Gus Bradley to run the defense.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It's hard enough for an NFL HC with experience dealing with a franchise move. It's going to be quite a challenge for first time NFL HC ( excluding one week as Bills Interim HC ) Anthony Lynn to handle the Chargers transition to LA. The Chargers will be practicing/ working out in San Diego in the off-season. They have to juggle that with finding homes in the LA area.

Though Gus Bradley wasn't a successful HC, his HC experience could prove helpful for Anthony Lynn, especially in Lynn's first season. If it turns out that Bradley is going to the Redskins, Lynn would probably be better off hiring another DC with NFL HC experience.

They should've hired Fisher, he's got a nice handle on the requirements to move a franchise.

Sean McVay is only 30 years old. Anthony Lynn is 48 and has been coaching in the NFL since 2000. Including a couple of seasons as the Jaguars RB coach during the Fred Taylor era.

  My pleasure.

The following tweet illustrates why it's easy to get the two coaches mixed up:

Odds you would have expected to read these two sentences just last month:

Anthony Lynn is HC of LA Chargers.

Sean McVay is HC of LA Rams.

So a new clown show to go with the dog and pony show the rams have become.

That's a sure fire draw for fans in LA. :whistling:

The fans that will likely be drawn in LA are fans of opposing teams. Right now, it's hard to imagine either team developing a fan base remotely close to what the Lakers have in LA.
