Colorado Man Vanishes at Stadium During Broncos Game

Paul Kitterman told his friend Tia Bakke that the experience of being at his first ever Denver Broncos game in person with his son was "awesome" - and that was the last she heard of him.

Yeah, I saw this too. Odd story.

Nobody just disappears into thin air.

There has to be video cameras all over these stadiums....I'd imagine there is some sort of lead, they are just keeping it quiet.

I find it difficult to believe that with surveillance being what it is today, there are no pictures or video of him leaving the stadium.

Something else to take into account is the fact he had no credit card or phone with him. To me that indicates a possible troubled background. A history of mental illness and/or homelessness perhaps?

Yeah, that sounds like someone that might have wanted to disappear....

Colorado. Legal Kush. He just forgot where he was, where he was going. Probably heard Manning yelling Omaha and headed there, after a pit stop at Papa Johns.

That's funny right there.

I'm inclinded to believe that he wanted/planned to disappear. To evade camera detection requires the skill of planning...

Unless he's still within the stadium...

He found Jimmy Hoffa.

What? Has it come to this - no cell phone = mental illness or homelessness? Wow.

Perhaps he's just old school. You don't have to have a cell phone you know. I figure we're about five years away from having to have a Facebook account in order to vote.

(Actually, I read that he was in a hurry to get to the game and left home without a phone and credit cards. Don't know if that's true, as I also read that he didn't have a cell phone.)

Just saw (on CNN.com) that he's been found - in Pueblo, Colo.

No other details given at this point. Police directed inquiries to man's family. Police at this time have no reason to believe a crime was committed.

Strange. I assume we'll learn more tomorrow.

You’ve completely missed the point, and selectively omitted a detail, in order to work yourself up into a self-righteous lather.  I did not imply that simply not having a cell phone was an indicator of mental illness or homelessness.  Had you withheld your exalted judgment beyond the first sentence, it is easily surmised that I clearly meant the absence of a phone AND credit cards, coupled with his mysterious disappearance, is an indicator of past troubles.  Mental illness and/or homelessness being obvious choices because that could explain the disappearance and the lack of means to own either a phone or credit cards.

With that being said, I'm happy the man has been found. However, the family's decision to post missing person fliers at detox centers indicates he has demons to keep at bay. From the reports out now, he was found safe and sober. That's good news.

Self-righteous lather? My, aren't you the sensitive one. Someone questions you and you're ready to get out the belt, I guess. Wouldn't want to be one of your kids.

Ok, I get it. If you don't have a cell phone and credit cards on you that's a sure sign of mental illness or homelessness. Got it.

I'll be looking to you for future insights of a sociological nature.
