2014 NFL TV Distribution Maps - Week 8

#1
(This post was last modified: 10-23-2014, 10:44 PM by AmeliaIsland.)

Andrew Catalon, Steve Tasker, and former Jäguars QB Steve Beuerlein, are announcing an NFL On CBS regional game involving our Jäguars for the fourth time this season.  as our Jaguars host their Florida AFC rivals Miami Dolphins at EverBank Field this Sunday afternoon in the NFL On CBS early regional doubleheader game,  seen mostly in Florida and Southern Georgia, and locally in Jacksonville, Florida, on WJAX-TV CBS Channel 47, live on HD.

WJAX-TV CBS Channel 47 is also televising the Colts @ Steelers NFL On CBS primary late doubleheader game, while WFOX Channel 30 is also televising the Eagles @ Cardinals NFL On FOX late single header game in Jacksonville, both games also seen live on HD. Smile  B)

WFOX Channel 30 is also televising the Lions @ Falcons NFL game from London, England, which is technically an NFL On FOX doubleheader game, to lead off the Sunday NFL day,  with kickoff from Wembley Stadium right after 9:30AM Eastern Standard Time  -  2:30PM local London Time, also seen live on HD.   ^_^

Why is the Seahawks/Panthers game on CBS? That is not allowed because they are both NFC teams.

I can't tell if I will get the Eagles/Cardinals or Vikings/Buccaneers on Fox. Gainesville is right where the colors intersect.

I'm stuck with the Carolina game as well.  I'm sick of this.  Looks like I'm stuck watching the crappy feed online, once again...

the Jags should forbid the Orlando CBS from showing this game unless they guarantee they will show all games the rest of the year ... that would really piss them off not being able to show a Dolphins game on a home Jaguars week

That makes even less sense to me than every other week, not only because the rest of Florida gets Miami at Jacksonville, but because Seattle and Carolina are NFC teams and should be on Fox.

NFL pulled a cross flex. Moved Houston vs Texans to Fox. Not the first one this year that was cross flexed. Trying to maximize viewership.

How can the Texans play against themselves?

I read the TV contract prohibits switching games from CBS to Fox and vice versa.
