Do the Jags re-sign Roy Miller?

We sign Suh and draft Leonard Williams our defensive line will be ungodly.

Roy is having the best year of his career. He's flying all over the field.
It's Miller time. Quote:Do the Jags re-sign Roy Miller or do they spend some money on someone like McCoy, Suh, or Fairley?Depends on how he plays down the stretch, but I see him likely being re-signed. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I'd like to see him stay. He's been playing well this season, and he is a great leader for the defense.
No commercial messages in sigs
I think we re-sign miller to a 2 year deal unless we can land Suh, McCoy, or Fairley. I would personally like the Jags to make a play for Suh, they have the money to do it.

No reason to spend ungodly amounts of money on a free agent pickup when we can resign him for a lot less than a guy like Suh or McCoy would demand. Him and Tyson have played REALLY well the past few weeks. Lets see how they continue but it's lookin good for him to be resigned.
Of course....you don't take a defense apart that's just finding its way.
You add to it.

I would expect to see them bring him back if he continues to play at the level he has this year. Last season was an outlier as he basically played the entire year with one arm. He's healthy this season, and we're reaping the benefits.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Clemons as LEO for one more year until we find one in the draft. Sign Suh, Suh and Marks would be a killer interior. Suh is number one in QB sacks, hurries, tackles..etc with 22 and I think Marks is number 2 with 21 in the NFL. Also draft Williams the 5-tech Defensive lineman and play him where we play red bryant and that will be a killer D-line for years to come.
If the DL can keep the pressure up, it will force the QB to make bad throws resulting in passes defended/interception/incompletions. If we get our FS and Colvin is the CB they praise him to be than we will have an elite Defense. Also address the LB area, Smith is young and small, add some weight he will be great. Replace Poz maybe this offseason or the next and hopefully we sign someone like KJ Wright to play LB for us. This defense will be raw and use the other picks in the draft to add depth. Maybe on the offensive side of the ball we get Iupati the pro bowl guard from 49ers to replace Beadles. With blackmon coming back or if he is ever to come back our offense would be sick with bortles throwing it to blackmon/robinson/lee and Denard running the ball.
If they don't re-sign Miller, Abry Jones has so far proven to be a good fill in at DT.

I agree Suh, Marks, Clemons, Williams, Bryant, Branch would be a nasty DL. Draft a 2nd round Safety next to Cyprien and a 3rd round MLB to take over for Poz after next year. Smith and Thomas will be adequate at the other LB spots. Hopefully Colvin, McCray and Gratz will continue to improve. That would be a good defense.

Depend on the contract. I'm ready for this team to start investing draft picks on the defense. His position would be perfect to be the first one to start that process.
This is where I think Gene made a lot of mistakes. Saying bye to aging players that could still produce. Keep in mind that some players just don't produce after having to start over for another team.

C'mon Jags...take a swing at a SUHperstar for once. If that fails re-sign Miller for two years.
I agree, we should add a monster like Suh. Just imagining Suh and Marks in the middle means zero running game up the middle. We are already improving we are just missing small pieces to the puzzle and upgrading the DL with 1st round pick and Suh signing means a long way for the Jaguars!
