Jack Conklin

Kinda shocked this hasnt been brought up yet but Conklin made first team all pro in his rookie year.  Kind of sucks they were able to trade back get all those picks and then draft a guy that makes first team all pro in his rookie year and already one if not the best right tackle in the game already.  Was easily the best rookie tackle in this years draft and looks like he we be a bookend for a long time for the Titans.  Hopefully their draft this yeear isnt any where near as good as they have 2 first round picks.

Taking away nothing from what Jack Conklin did as a rookie,  I disagree that he was easily the best rookie Offensive Tackle in the 2016 Draft.  Taylor Decker had an impressive rookie season at the LT position and deserves to be in the conversation in terms of the top rookie OT performer.

Agree that Decker had a good season but Conklin might already be the best RT in the game

Yet,  when considering the value of the LT position compared to the RT position,   I think the value of the two players is in the same ballpark.

I think the tacks got themselves a very good player in Conklin.

But based upon the last game, I like the way our DEs match up with their tackles.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Few OLine guys disagree on that. They say while he had a very good year as a rookie there are several other right tackles who have far more blocking responsibility and did a better job at it.
