Why does Bradley act like he won the Super Bowl in his post-game speech?

I've never seen Carroll, Harbaugh, Coughlin, McCarthy, Payton, Tomlin, Dungy, Cowher, Belichick, Jimbo Fisher, Saban, etc. act like that.

This team needs a head coach, not a cheerleader.  He doesn't exhibit the ability to lead.  The team is 1-6, sure, enjoy your first win, but not like you just hoisted the Lombardi.

Man the Jags are in trouble.

Because as I've been saying for weeks....Badly is over his head as a head coach in this league.

Someone brought up last week that time that he did the chest bump thing with one of his players last year when they were still down by 30. This is like that.

No, just wondering if the Jags have a coach who can lead to the Super Bowl.

Agreed but be careful...apparently a lot of folks now think we are awesome because we beat the Browns and have improved to 1-6.  Just sayin...

I bet you haven't seen any one of those coaches post game after a big win either, particularly the harbaughs. Or carrol. Or tomlin.

I have to agree with you. He just doesn't exude "head coach".

His Coordinator choices were a harbinger of the above, too.

Because he's a players coach and they love him. It shows me that he cares and loves coaching this football team. Jesus I'm sick and tired of seeing the same people looking for every little thing to complain about. Are you a Jaguars fan or just a fan of complaining about them. Root for somebody else if your just gonna constantly [BLEEP].

I'm a Jag fan. I've been to every game played in Jacksonville in 20 years bar one for a funeral. I am not convinced Gus Bradley was a good hire and after going 5-18 he has given me no reason to change my mind. Sue me!

FWIW Cowher loved it and praised Bradley. He also said for the fans in Jacksonville to have patience, that good things were coming our way with Bradley at the helm *shrugs* I personally think we overvalue the simple mundane things in HCs here, and I'll reserve calling for Bradley's head until he has a roster that's not playing 7 different rookies in large roles. Pressing the reset button every other season isn't a way to sustain success. Belichick was on his way out of New England after failing in Cleveland before Brady took over. He certainly didn't have the look of a HC at the time.

I don't find the postgame speech an issue; because frankly, they need some positivity after losing so many games. He's a players coach. Now, that's not always the best choice. However, if I played the game, I'd want to play for him. Is he going to have "rookie" mistakes and learning curves? Yes, and so does every "rookie" Head Coach. The coaches you all name have been coaching for years; with tons of experience and high repuability. I think he will be a great Head Coach; but like all of our rookie players, he will need time to grow. Managing a defense or a specific coordination is much different than the entire team. He's learning. I have faith in him and will continue until I see otherwise. It's year 2 (not even complete) of his tenure. I know we continually suck and have sucked for a long time. That doesn't mean we will find success right away. I laughed and felt like jumping with them!

GO JAGS!!

Except that never happened.
