Quote:Oughta' be a smack down, but you never know with these rivalries.  Maybe the Jets will show up.  I just don't think they'll keep up.

my best guess:

Pats 27

Jets 17

I had one of the scores right anyway.  :teehee:

Quote:midget Amendola > all the jags receivers

amendola did pretty much absolutely nothing all game. he made a really good catch in the end zone towards the end, but he couldnt even get open in normal time, brady had to buy extra time and then amendola broke off his route.

he is almost worthless, and thats with brady as his qb.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I agree he is NOT as advertised when they picked him up. Great catch though.

Quote:That was a sick catch by Amendola.

When I saw that catch,  I thought of the pass that Wes Welker didn't catch in the Super Bowl against the Giants 3 seasons ago that could easily have been the difference in that Super Bowl.

It was nice to see a TNF game come down to the last play to decide the game.

More of those games NFL, more of those.

Yep. Gotta say, Welker lost the patriots with that non catch. It wasn't perfect but it hit him right in te hands. If he came down with it. Game over. I feel bad for Brady. He's like BB, works with scrubs.

Geno played really well that game. They outplayed the pats except for the redzone. Too many field goals. And Ivory was beasting.

You feel bad for Brady? Really?

Hearing about the Patriots history last night before Kraft bought the team made me really related to what this team is possible of accomplishing under Khan's ownership.

Yeah why not? Dude works his butt off every year, and gets deep into the playoffs with scrubs, and they choke when it counts. You may not be a Brady fan, but he'd be unstoppable if he had the broncos roster.

Has nothing to do with being a fan or not. But feeling sorry for a guy who was a 6th round pick and won 2 super bowls making millions of dollars just seems odd.

Brady has won 3 Super Bowls and lost 2.

Being to the Super Bowl 5 (and counting) times in a career is pretty impressive for a QB.
