One of the top rookie WRs?

Two?
No. The Jaguars have THREE rookie WRs in the top 20. (Link to stats) The future is bright on offense. When the running game, LBs, and secondary catches up... we'll catch fire. Unfortunately, it may not be as soon as some may like. Help isn't on the way until the offseason in those areas, but it sure looks like we've got the core built for the offense, at least in the passing game.

One of these guys will pan out in a major way. My money is on Robinson and Lee.
This is exactly why I am so bullish about the future...at least the offense.
Often times, teams will draft a rookie QB, then in subsequent drafts, surround him with weapons. It appears these guys have the potential to be weapons for Bortles, and they were obtained the same draft. This doesn't even factor in Shorts, Sanders, or Blackmon, if he ever comes back. This will enable the team to allocate draft and free agency resources elsewhere for the foreseeable future. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

On a side note...the Jaguars have two of the top 20 rookie OL.
Future is bright?
Quote:Players, not plays. Yeah, well the 3 players likely wouldn't be AS far along without a WR coach as good as Jerry Sullivan here to assist in their development. Players AND plays (coaching)
Our passing game may be in good hands for quite some time. It's been a long wait and they still have to grow into their new shoes a bit, but it bodes well for the future. Very well. *knocks on wood

Only 24 Rookie WR's I believe have received a reception this year. Still, if Lee didn't get injured, we'd probably see 3 in the Top 10 right now.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

This list is great for the Jags, but also hilarious thinking back to the college forum pre-draft when many were calling Benjamin, Cooks, Evans and others certain busts in the NFL.
Never really thought Benjamin would be a bust per se, just thought he was REALLY raw and needed some seasoning. You can definitely tell he has worked hard and the Panthers are reaping the rewards.
