I agree that Fisch dink and dunk offense combined with babich's pillow soft zone stinks but the major problem is the players.

 

How often do we have to see

 

1. Guys dropping easy balls

2. Veteran guys like shorts turning the ball over in crucial situations

3. Receivers falling down or not fighting for the ball creating a turnover

4. Offensive line get manhandled or miss a block to allow free runners at the Qb

5. The Rb's have 0 running lanes

6. Stupid penalties in bad situations

7. Missing tackle after tackle

8. Leaving the middle of the field wide open

9. Missing assignments and leaving players wide open.

 

This is a bad combo of the coaching staff and the players just stink.  This GM better do something big this offseason or needs to get replaced.  This product sucks all around.

This team isn't going to win without major changes in the offensive and defensive schemes.  

 

I don't think you can find a worse pair of coordinators throughout the league.

Nobody can tackle for [BLEEP], they need to just do tackle drills the whole week, don't even bother scheming.

Our coaches aren't calling plays or making the right decision that allows us to rebound from typical mistakes.

1.It's because they're rookies.


2. You say veteran guys like it's plural.  How many veterans do we really have?  Shorts is barely a veteran, without 32 full games on his resume.

 

3. That's a big problem.


4. I wonder if Gus has considered changing the scheme there. 


5. Up until now, even if they did I don't think they'd be very successful.


6. Yeah, that's gotta stop.  Do like Pitt and bring in the refs to a practice.

 

7. Inexcusable.  Surely they've all learned to tackle at some point in their life.


8. Don't we rarely throw to the middle too?  I wonder if our coaches realize that the middle of the field can be utilized.
