Toby ruled out

#1

Are you happy to see that Toby has been ruled out this week?

More chance for Storm or the others to get more play time, so thats cool with me.

Maybe our rushing game will improve Big Grin

Not really happy.  It'd still be nice to see if Toby can do anything.

One of these years.............

Yeah... He has been a let down but I cant put all the blame on him.

I do still really want to see Drob and Storm get more attempts to prove themselves as well.

But again with our OLine its very iffy, hoping for some improvement this week Smile

I think if the coaching staff had conviction about Slowby they wouldn't have held him out this week. He's being held out for an injury that he's been playing with since week 2, and there haven't been any indications that it's been reaggravated or gotten worse. Sounds to me like they just wanted to get the other RBs some more playing time without outright benching Slowby

For the Jaguars,  the decision to rule Toby Gerhart out for their upcoming game in Tennessee would seem to make a great deal of sense.   As long as Gerhart remains noticeably below a relatively healthy state,   it's highly unlikely he will provide the team the type of running dimension that the team hoped for when signing him.    Rest and rehab are probably what Gerhart needs the most in order to get back to his pre-injury level.

We will greatly miss his 1.1 ypc and 9 yrds on 8 attempts.

Slowby!  HA!  Boy...that just never gets old at all!  Sick

Maybe he'll heal up and with a little more oline gelling he'll come back strong.  I can dream.

Huh

If he needs reset and just time to get back into game shape maybe by the time he does our OLine will have come along better too...or maybe Storm or someone else will have stepped up for us Smile

It's in his contract that when he eclipses the 200 all purpose yard mark, he gets to sit a game and rest.

Welp.  There goes our chances of winning the game.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Wonder how this will affect the vegas line ?

Like his namesake, Amelia Gerhart will once again find his career ended by a Storm.

I bet he's glad Bortles threw him the ball a few times, or else he'd have to wait until the bye week for that rest!

Who's going to be out go to guy when we're looking to gain 1 yard on 3rd down and 3 yards to go?

Shame we didn't keep MJD. He's rocking with his 12 yards in 11 carries for the entire season so far.

No problem. Todman looked to have that play down in preseason.
