Short of murdering someone, I'm not sure what he could have done to warrant such a suspension..

What did he do? Was it academics?

Probably something dumb like talking to an agent.

Doubt this will affect on his draft stock.

If it were academics, there wouldn't be many players left,IMO

But Gurley allegedly took payments for stuff like autographs, etc.

Dumb. Immature. All the above? Just being a Gurley boy?

Either way. At least Georgia stepped up, unlike the Noles.

What if it turns out that Harris and Gurley raped each other?

Sucks for him and for UGA.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Maybe his draft stock will fall far enough to were it makes sense to draft him..

Why not sign Spiller and use the pick on Amari or Collins?

I'd be for this.. Buffoonalo is notorious for under-utilizing their RB's, a fresh start is maybe what Spiller needs.

That's pretty puzzling if that turns out to be true. You suspend your star player indefinitely because he sold some autographs? Big deal. The NCAA has really gotten out of control with its punishment of student athletes making some spending money off of their talents while the NCAA cashes in on them year in and year out. If that turns out to be the sole reason Georgia suspended him indefinitely, they did him a favor by giving him the rest of the season off and preventing him from potentially injuring himself. Teams have enough tape on him to know what he can do, and that will not, nor should it affect his draft stock in any way.
