The Jags will get 1st win this week

If you say it often enough, it will become true.

Anyway, getting the first win and beating the Titans at the same time will double the sweetness.

Would be nice. But... I expect to see the following headline after the game..

Charlie Whitehurst has record career game against the Jaguars......

"What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."

I really hope the Jags win this one. This young team just needs one win to get some confidence.

Gus is undefeated at Tenn so far in his career.

He is also undefeated against the Texans and at the Browns.

What does all this mean?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

The Titans are 1-4, their points record for and against isn't much better than ours, they've got a backup quarterback, they've just had a morale-damaging defeat in a game they should have won and they're on a run of four defeats.

We're improving every game and the coaches are starting to stumble upon their best team.

I really believe that this is where the tide turns...

The jags really need and should win this one.  A loss here might be the beginning of some serious questioning about the temperature of Gus's seat imo.  This is one of the few teams that i think we either match or exceed talent wise.

We had confidence Sunday against the Steelers. A win would make it grow.

It means we can beat Tennessee today and Cleveland next week. But that says nothing about our ability to beat the Texans twice.

We don't know who their quarterback will be yet. Jake Locker is questionable.

The Jags last two games, they scored 14 and then 9.

Do you think they'll actually hit the 20 point mark this week?

I hope so. But, they're gonna have to be much better than what we've seen lately.

I'm calling a season high for points scored by our O this weekend.

Our last two opponents were the Chargers and Steelers. Do you really think the Titans are as good as those teams on defense without Bernard Pollard?
