Calvin Johnson could be on his way out of Detroit

#41

Quote:I have my doubts that the lions let him walk, But he has not had a very good season thus far IMO so who knows.... Maybe they will risk letting him go.

Unfortunately,  the high ankle sprain injury Calvin Johnson suffered vs. the Packers in Game # 3 limited what he could do in the games at the Jets and vs. the Bills ( before coming out of the game for good early in the 3rd QTR. ).    Jim Caldwell made the right decision by keeping Megatron out in Minnesota today.    Considering the Lions started the season off very well on 3rd Down conversions but were 1 for 11 vs. the Bills and 1 for 13 at the Vikings,  it definitely illustrates the need for a relatively healthy Calvin Johnson.   While Golden Tate is a good to very good WR,   there's not many WR's close to the level of Calvin Johnson.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
