Quote:<div>GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida police were called to the stadium Monday night to break up a fight involving two Gators football players.

Skyler Mornhinweg was treated on the scene for an unspecified injury after a fight with teammate Gerald Willis III, University of Florida Police said.

Sophomore quarterback Skyler Mornhinweg and true freshman defensive lineman Gerald Willis III fought outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium before campus police responded at approximately 7:06 p.m. ET.

Mornhinweg told police the fight was over his cleats, which he said were located by the team's staff in Willis' locker. The QB sustained "small lacerations on his lower lip," according to the police report, and was taken to Shands emergency room for treatment.

They don't usually get into fist fights after hours over presumed stolen merchandise. Scuffles in practice are one thing.. IDK what's going on in Gainesville. Thought this kind of thing would go away when Urban skipped town.

10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

Non-story, little bit weird it happened not in the locker room which is where I usually hear about fights, but as it stands no big deal.

Its possible that nothing was stolen and its just a misunderstanding

Which is what the officer said. The fight was already broken up when the UF officers got there. This really couldnt be less of a big deal.

I don't even know how to reply to you, you're so dense.

This is just icing on the disaster cake that the team is.  Did i imply anywhere, that this solitary incident is what makes them a disaster?  But go ahead and fire back some nonsense at me, i've gotten used to your style.

This little scuffle makes the team no more dysfunctional than it is... if it is at all.

If you think a little fight means the entire team is in chaos, then its time for you to log off.

So you apparently think they are disfunctional too!

I think a little fight adds to my established opinion that the team is a disaster, yes.

So a team with a slew of issues continually occurring for years that are now fighting each other in additional to a huge laundry list of issues that makes me call them a disaster, and you reply with this.  Yup, you're a gator fan!  You seem like the type that roots for them but never actually attended.  You'd need intelligence to attend UF.  Well, unless you're in athletics!

why dont you sit back, worry about your own team, have a large bowl of rice a roni, and relax.

it was no big deal and the whole treon harris thing is still under investigation, but my feeling on it is it will turn out to be total crap. the investigation on it was started immediately and im sure there wont be a federal probe of the investigation like there is going on over in tallahassee right now.
