Pass rush is fixed

#1

Well i try to stay positive, and as others have pointed out, there are a few positives, mainly QB and WRs.  Well looking at stats today and i find, to my suprise, our Jags are #2 in the NFL in team sacks.  So there's that.

Just wanted to share some sunshine in another lost season. There's always "next year".

I wouldn't call it fixed just yet.

How about sacks per drop-back?

I feel like that may be a better indicator of overall prodution.

I've watched every snap this season.  I'm really trying to find silver linings here, ok?  Don't crap on it, it's tough being a Jags fan.

I think people are just fed up with "next year".. Can't blame people for being ticked off.. Some have spent thousands of dollars to watch the same polished turd, year after year..

But complaining about them will?

Yeah i know, i put that in quotes for effect.  I'm very sick of the "next year" mantra too, it's so freakin old!

I think the pass rush actually is greatly improved, i really underestimated how bad the secondary was going to be. early indications are that TMD and all of his gripes about gratz, may have well come true. hes been playing horribly.

i do think he has talent and potential to get it fixed, but the free safety position and the other corner spot are both issues. if the d line could get a little more help from the secondary then the sacks might even go up, or if the staff felt more comfortable with the secondary, they might send more on blitzes.

I don't know that it's "fixed" yet, but it's been improved alot and some of the more important players in it are young (Marks, Branch, Davis).

The pass rush played a solid game all the way through. There were only a couple of plays that Rivers actually had extra time to throw. People shouldn't be wide open on the snap and that's what needs to be fixed.

No pain, no gain.

Last year we could cover I guess okay, we just couldn't get pressure to save our life. This year is the complete opposite. It always seems like as soon as we fix one major weakness, another one comes up. We can never keep up. Oh well, im still loyal to Duval

I thought this was going to be about how the Jaguars should sign Justin Houston

It's not even close to fixed. A couple of worthless sacks late in games doesn't make up for 3.5 quarters of absolutely zero pass rush.

U know whats weird? The redskins had 10 sacks vs us and we have more total with 12 lol
