Chargers without Woodhead and Matthews

#1

The Chargers will be down to their 3rd string RB this weekend, former Colts RB Donald Brown. They just activated 4th string RB Branden Oliver from the practice squad who will probably see time this weekend.

Our defense needs all the breaks it can get and this is surely a break.

edit: Mathews, not Matthews.

Meh...Donald Brown has always run all over us anyways. I'm sure nothing will change this week.

We'll probably let Donald Brown and Branden Oliver look amazing.

With Bortles in the game if the defense can pull its collective head out of its collective rear it's a winnable situation.

And the false hope begins.

Well I didn't say he's going to win no matter what, just that with Bortles in the game it's now winnable with a good effort from the defense.

I wish! Unfortunately it takes more than one week to fix everything that is wrong with the quarterback, so the defense still is going to play too much and get tired.

Also keep in mind our new starter is an offensive player. All that will do is keep defensive players on the bench longer, not fix any of the mental errors.
