Best Defensive Prospect

Well? Not sure if y'all got the memo, but our defense is turrible. If we're drafting in the top 10, who are is the BAP on the defensive side? Seeing how Seattle built from the back 7, we might go there but passrush is always welcome too.

Gonna say we win a few with Bortles and pick around 5-8.  Cut Poz, and Lewis at the end of the year and get some help on the oline and one of the top TE free agents.

1. Landon Collins , S, Ala.

2. Denzel Perryman, MLB, Mia.

3. Duke Johnson, RB, Mia.  or  Ameer Abdullah, Rb, Neb.

4. Jarvis Harrison, OG, T A&M

5. Jalston Fowler, FB, Ala.

6. Julian Wilson, CB, Okla.

7. Jeffery Whitaker, DT, Aub.

I'd take this and possibly let Shorts walk if he cant agree to team friendly deal and look in rounds 4/5 for a replacement.

Tyler Lockett - Kansas State

Rannell Hall - UCF

Dres Anderson - Utah

Are a few of the guys I like around that round...pipe dream being Dorial Green-Beckham slides to round 3/4 due to off the field concerns and have to sit out the year...could he go in supplemental draft?

im with you on the DGB pick, he would enter the regular draft i believe, the only reason he would go supplemental is if he changed his mind after the draft. while i think hes gonna be good, i think i wouldnt trust him unless he went out and proved it on the field in college one more year with no issues.

also to the guy that just says fix the line in FA. who is to say there will even be talent available to fix it? at this point we cant assume there will be and have to project to using the draft to fix it.

Free agency comes before the draft and there are a few different players.  Plus Linder and Bowanko are both rookies,  Pasztor is coming back, and with Bortles in at QB it might not look that bad at the end of the year

Stefan Wisniewski, C, Oak.

Mike Iupati, OG, SF

Bryan Bulaga, OT, GB

Really liked him coming out of college but haven't kept up with him in the pros. Raiders are no longer in cap hell so they should be able to keep him.

Bulaga injury history is very concerning. ...

Bulaga is good for about 1-2 games a year before being done for the season.

We almost completely rebuilt our defensive line. They showed during the first two quarters of the season we are moving the right direction there. But they don't have a lot of time on the bench when Bryan Anger is very busy. Blake Bortles will help them take longer breaks on the sideline, which can make them better at tackling and hitting a quarterback, all four quarters.

What we need right now are better backups at middle linebacker and strong safety, a starting free safety, and time. Lots of time. With experience and coaching everyone will get better.

Ifo Ekpre Olomu and Vic Beasley look like the best defensive prospects available.

Are any of these players looking like they might be a dominant top three pick ? Or are we looking at a field similar to the 2013 class, minus Clowney ?

there have been a lot of rave reviews lately about gregory and some for leonard williams, but right now the top of the draft doesnt look great as far as on paper grades go...
