Looked better than Gerhart, that's for sure.

But what about the comments in the other thread saying he wasn't impressive in his 3 attempts in 2 games.

Denard > Slowby

He needs to average 5-10 touches a game. With Pasztor returning, our OL getting in sync, and the threat of Bortles' arm, I expect less 3 & outs and more than one yard a carry

I think the combination of power and speed works well. If you want to run a sweep or something out, give it to drob. Want to go down hill? Gerhart.

Tell them to switch jerseys. Fisch doesn't understand running 101

Why isn't Denard the starter? He is much faster than Gerhart.

Someone can correct me on this, but I got the impression D-Rob came in only when he was actively involved in the play. When it was time for pass protection he came out. If the back is staying in to block it is always Gerhart or Todman. I think this is why we aren't seeing more of D-Rob. They don't trust him when it comes to protecting the QB.

Perhaps DRob secretly still wants to play QB?

Time to start Shoelace.

Get him the ball on the outside and in open space. Stretch play to Gerhart needs to go. Give it to Denard.

An extra running back blocking isnt going to give us amazing protection. Start Denard and let him get game experience with blocking. He should have been playing more working on blocking when we were sacrificing Henne to the Skins defense last week

Robinson ending up with 4 yards per carry is a miracle in itself with this line. He needs more touches.

Would like to see him utilized a little more as a receiver out of the back field. Some angle routes and screens would be nice, anything to get him out in space more or matched up with a less athletic LB. He's earning more playing time which is good to see.

Been calling for D-Rob to get more touches since last season.  They finally did it today. I'd bet they continue. He's a rare athlete. Give him more opportunities and he'll make plays.

I think he accepted his role as strictly a running back in the offseason. Coaches figured out the only way he will ever be a good running back is by not playing other positions.

I agree with everyone who thinks Shoelace should be the starter, but  would like to see Gerhart get the first down on third and short.

His confidence is growing as well, he was doing a bit of yapping at somebody today. Its good to see him becoming more comfortable and just playing football.
