Henne is still our guy

#1

Clearly Blake isn't ready. Those INTs will forever ruin his confidence. Henne gives us the best chance to win. It's obvious that the OL and WRs aren't good enough for a rookie QB to be thrown into the fire. Yea, he made a good play or two, but it was garbage time vs vanilla defenses. If Gus and Dave say the kid isn't ready, then I believe them unconditionally, since they clearly have the team going in the right direction. You drama queens that want to play Bortles are mouth breathers who don't know anything about football.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

What am I hiding from exactly?

It made sense down 30-0 to put the rookie in to see what he can do. Boy, that really showed me, right?
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

What are you talking about? I've always said that when they felt he was ready to go, they'd put him in.

I know you have to work yourself up into some sort of a slobbering rage here because it's what you do, but the reality is that they saw an opportunity and made the move. I'm not sure how I flip flopped on anything here, but with intellectual luminaries like you pouncing, it's clear you read an awful lot more into my very consistent position than actually existed.

We were being shut out 30-0 and the offense was stuck. It was the perfect opportunity to do this. So, get back to soiling yourself about something you've now imagined.

It had nothing to do with Henne continuing to blow?

And why was it not the perfect opportunity at 0/0? Is the thing that makes it the definitive "perfect opportunity" because they chose to do it then? If they hadn't, I have a feeling it would have suddenly been not the right time again.

I agree OP. I think we should trade Bortles, Shorts, Lee, AR, Hurns all for a quarterback, or maybe AP
