New Rookie of the Year Candidate?

#1

New contender in Blake Bortles. He'll have 13 games and he has one half of 224 yards and 2 TDs. Bridgewater is a new starter, too. But is there anyone who really stands out in the league? Benjamin is an early favorite as well

Look for Allen Hurns to strike back. He put everyone on notice today that he isn't done just yet.

He was amazing today. How on Earth did he squeeze out of the Colts sandwich?

Sounds good but the voters will choose Watkins over any Jaguar WR.

Yeah, no doubt! Although, if Hurns even matches or comes close to Watkins' production, we all know who wins that battle lol (4th vs underdrafted)

Don't get too carries away, I saw some good stuff from Blake but I saw some bad stuff too. I think he'll be good but I'm not sure he's going to get ROTY or anything like that.

Vince Young won OROY and he was terrible. People love QBs.. And the average voter couldn't tell you crap about the player, just that they've heard their name on sports center a couple times

I thought the voters were guys who are paid to talk or write about the NFL and therefore would know more than we do about players.

I think we should name Blake Bortles the team MVP. He deserves a game ball today.

Pretty sure the ROY awards are done like the pro bowl, they're voted on by the fans

Agreed. The only way he loses is if he doesn't win any games.

And thats basically with a game off vs Wash. Would have been great if the caught that TD, but that game almost shouldn't even count the way the line/Henne played.
