Can he play that center field role? Serious question. I see him listed as a SS.

Yeah he played it last year when Clinton-Dix was out and excelled at it, very good in coverage

Will he be in the draft next year? I don't pay much attention to Alabama and did not even know there is a guy named Collins on the roster. But he certainly looks like a good one now.

I have always opposed moving players to different positions that they had never played for the sake of having him on the team. Too often I have seen players become less effective because coaches moved them to different positions. So count me out of that idea no matter how good Collins is.

How does he compare to HHCD?

He's being preliminarily compared to guys like Vaccarro and Thomas III, so much better than HaHa.

HaHa was out of football for a while. I'd give him a couple seasons before I write him off. He's very physically gifted.

For how long? Why was he out?

It wasn't really too long. Just a few games but he was coming off a knee injury.

Cody Prewitt is better.

I'm going to have to watch this guy more. If he can play FS it fits for where we are picking most likely.

I couldn't find much on Youtube, just a couple of highlights.  Granted, it's hard to have cut ups of DBs using TV footage...

I'm always wary of SEC DBs, and Alabama players in general, coming to the NFL.  Not many good SEC DBs/Safeties out there off the top of my head aside from Patrick Peterson.  Claiborne and Milliner haven't looked so hot and have dealt with injuries.

Its a mixed bag, Joe Haden is another one that found success.

Even Joe Haden has been giving up some big catches at critical moments.

Success?  Yes.  Is he a really good DB?  That's very debatable, I would even say no.  FWIW, he's ranked 94/96 on PFF's DB rankings through 3 games this year.  He's inconsistent.

Collins looks to be a nice player. But drafting an Alabama player scares the heck out of me. There have been so many busts in the NFL since Saban got there.

Sorry, Landon not only looks the part, but I see him as the first db off the board and a top ten pick to boot.

Only 1 so far, but I expect they'll be much more by the end of season.

Too bad NCAA doesn't have all 22

Right now 4th or 5th rounder. Alabama offense is good this year and will be ahead a lot. Other teams will have to pass and then the "Look how great Collins is" train will start to roll. This is why all the hype for Alabama players build during a season.

Cooper and Henry though are fantastic players and will go very high in the next 2 years draft.
