Has our pass rush improved?

8 sacks in two games. Not great but it's improved. At least it's something.Looks like Telvin Smith is making plays too.

Yes, it has improved. Ryan Davis is a find.

We should rack up the sacks easily with the defense on the field 58 minutes a game

It's the only improved area IMO.  The secondary was beginning to look improved before Cyprien was hurt.  But….

The pass rush has improved, although it would be nice to give them a breather or two during games.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

even then they had coverage break downs that Foles didn't see

Most definetly. We can get the qb off their spot now. We can go finish and get sacks. This pass rush is vastly improved. Now we have to get the back end a little better.

My thoughts as well, I came into the season feeling the defense as a whole had improved, at this point I'm only convinced the pass rush is better.

At the expense of run defense.

Absolutely. But even still being on the field so long they get gassed and the secondary breaks down.

An improved offense will make the pass rush better which will make the secondary better

It's more the safeties and the LBs in coverage. The corners are fine I think.

This I can agree with. The corners are very good. The linebackers and safeties seem to constantly be out of place. Cyprien is a very good player and does more than people think. Prosinski needs to be in the CFL tho.

slightly improved

Our offense isn't good enough to jump out to leads and force the opposition to pass, so the sack numbers have to come from stopping the run on first and second down and forcing third and longs. Our run defense has been terrible and we're still getting a few sacks, so I suppose it can only go up from here.

It's the only unit on the team that is improved, as of now!

^This.  They're better but they'd be even better if they weren't on the field so darn much.  That time will come though.

One nice thing to note about the pass rush is that they are often getting pressure from a four man rush and without any stunts sometimes.

That's a pretty solid step forward IMO.
