Team changes for the next game ?

#1

So Henne gets dropped and Bortles is told to put down his textbooks and pad-up.

But who else gets dropped for the next game...  and who do you bring in to replace them ?

I guess these will be the popular ones...

McClendon OUT - Bowanko IN

Gerhart OUT - DRob IN

But apart from that...  I don't know if there are obvious improvements available...

(if anyone is bothered about my opinion, I think we need to give the current starters longer than two games to gel...  and yes I have had the misfortune to watch the last two games.  But hey, I could be wrong !)

If Cyp is playing this weekend, cut Prosinski. Keep Loston on the active roster.

I like Bowanko better at Center, JMc wasn't supposed to be the starter and we can pretty much see why. Are they trying to run a ZBS with guys who can't do it or is it just that they need time to make it work right? I don't know, but TG looks like he should be in a power/man system more so than the ZBS.

So, I think Toby is the victim of the line right now, I don't know that anyone could run in there and be successful. I think the era of the stretch is coming to an end, and it's really bad when you don't have a high quality starter at QB to keep the D honest.

The Wide Outs are what they are, a bunch of kids who got tossed in to the mix and they just have to acclimated to the game speed. Time for them is the critical factor (well, that and having a better QB).

I think Telvin Smith and Dakota Watson both need more time on the field, they are speed guys in a defense that requires it. Hayes and Reynolds aren't getting it done there.

We need better safety play, but the guys we have are the guys we have. No one on the bench is better than Cyp and Guy, and there's no help to be found really.

The corners are ok, but they didn't benefit from the pass rush we saw early week one. That means we need better production up front.
