Seems odd that Blake is being protected for injury concerns, but a guy like Hurns is sacrificed for a 4 yard gain on 4th and 16. Its borderline insulting to the other players.

Gus has officially lost the locker room if this is true.

Well the offensive line's opinion shouldn't matter, the defense's opinion shouldn't matter, the running backs opinion shouldn't matter.  I can't think of one player on this team who deserves to have their opinion listened too.

Darn right they do.  How could they not?  I said it in an earlier thread.  Guys want to play for a QB they have faith and confidence in.  It's darn near impossible to have that in Henne no matter how nice of a guy he is or how he handles himself off the field.  Bortles time is now and I hope the guys making the decision wake up and smell the roses.

not if he names Bortles the starter

Although I also think Bortles should start, I think the guys in the locker room are in no position to demand anything because they ALL sucked today.

How do we even know that Jason Cole has any idea what is going on in the locker room?

Cant imagine gus making this change so early in the season. After all the talk about how fast chad is playing and how the whole team is rallying behind him & how he gives us the best chance to win right now & how well he has a grasp of the offense & what jed wants ,and how much confidence they have a in him.

If gus pulls chad after week 2 then I'm gonna start thinking that gus was full of s#*t.

Can't blame them. You know these guys have to be tired of being the laughing stock of the league. While some of it is their fault, it must be sickening to see the better player on the bench for the most important position. And some of these guys are playing for their career every game, must suck to see the team sitting better players when they are trying to show they belong in this league.

If someone ever said Chad gives us the best chance to win with Bortles on the roster then they are full of [BLEEP].

Henne wasnt the only one who played poorly.

im no expert on reading body language, but it sure seemed like the team wasn't behind henne. I remember seeing a replay of henne getting sacked, and Jordan todman on the sideline threw his hands up in the air.

players im sure are even less likely to be patient than fans. they know they have a very limited amount of years in the league.  even the greats only have so long.  its always win now for players.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's just 8 guys on this message board.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
