Who are we tanking for?

#1

If we decide we need to tank these games to get the #1 pick in the draft, at least a few of us will be happy.

Where are the tankers?   Tell us who we need to tank for.

They aren't tanking. I don't think this regime knew how bad it was. I think this was a reality check for Bradley.

Any chance we replace Joeckel with that LT from TAMU?

Trade down for Gurley

Picks.  Trade down to #10 (Gurley) and load up on picks from getting out of the #2 spot (assuming the Raiders get #1)

This is the 2nd time I've seen someone say Kelvin Taylor.

1) He hasn't even been used enough because of Muschamp's terrible seniority garbage where the person higher class automatically plays above the person with the most skills.

2) Taylor couldn't even come out this year if he wanted.

I don't think many people actually pay attention to college football.

I just think it is cute that the OP thinks we need to tank to get the first pick of the draft. This team isn't tanking they are just that bad.

Trade back, Get some picks from someone that wants the QB. But I still dont think we draft first.

The jaguars have never had the first overall pick in the draft. I am actually proud about this. The only time the jaguars have picked first in a draft was in the expansion draft.

That being said, if we can, trade back and pick up at least an extra pick. I would like to see Drummond, some other star Free Safety, or Gurley. Perryman would be nice as well but I wish he was a bit taller. We could then pick up a Guard or Tackle followed by a safety.

Dream scenario, to best help fill holes on the team immediately, trade back as someone wants a QB, then trade back again, as someone wants Gurley. Could end up with the very least 3 second round picks. In this scenario, we pick up a FS, OL, OC, and either a DL or MLB. Those who want to say we don't need a DL, you are correct. We don't need one immediately, but it would be nice to groom one.

I still think they go Pass Rusher early, but that's always subject to change.

Anyone have a feel for where this draft is deep, position-wise?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Mariota, open cometition between him and Bortles, then blockbuster trade one of them before the season starts.

I think it might be pass rusher. Although, it is so early and can change so much. This time two years ago we were told that Bjoern Werner, Damontre Moore and Jonathan Hankins would go top 5.

I'd trade back, grab Gurley and load up with linemen, through free agency as well..

I think people are getting way too hung up on Gurley. He is a great player but the game has changed. I hope the team does not spend a pick on a running back where he is projected to go.

I think some people really fail to understand what a true workhorse could do for an offense with a young QB at the helm..
