What does Gerhart do for us?

I know our o-line is garbage, but this guy is just . . . completely unimpressive. He's like an even slower MJD. I'd rather have D-rob out there.

He gets 1.02491 yards per rush for us.

he has terrible vision and for a big guy, cannot seem to break a single tackle

He looks like a stud, big arms, big thighs, calves, but his face looks like that kid who said "I see dead people"

But when he does manage to have a hole open up for him, he chooses not to enter through it.

Not to mention, gets arm tackled easily.

I will look for the screen play which exemplified his play here as a Jaguar.

This fan-base doesn't know what it's like without a star RB. We've always had one... Natrone Means, Fred Taylor, MJD and a few others that were pretty good too that I can't remember. We need to get one in this upcoming draft. Preferably Todd Gurley or Kelvin Taylor.

Doesn't look good at this point.

But we certainly do know what it's like without a competent QB.

Gerhart is not a RB that is successful full-time in this league. Why do you think Minnesota let him walk; the NFL is all about speed and Toby is slower than half of our linemen.

Even if he had holes he looks terribly slow.

He and Henne provide consistancy. Can you imagine how tired our offense would be if we started moving the ball down the field at break neck speed. No no no, we need slower ball carriers, and if at all possible we need to make sure that Henne doesn't force passes, instead he needs to eat it and take the sack... Preferably more than 10, since now we know that eating today's sacks still couldn't solve our int problem.

He goes down after one hit, ensuring that he doesn't injure himself.

There isn't a rb in this league that would look good on this team facing 8 man fronts with run blitzes every play.

Gerhart is the least of the offensive worries.
