My reaction, "screw experience" play the guy that can throw the ball.

The first half was one of the best halves of football we've played in a long time ... then the second half happened

Lots of positives in the first half, including an opportunistic defense and Hurns really surprising me.

Lots of negatives in the second half. The Jags receivers couldn't get open to save Henne's life, lots of catchable passes dropped (maybe Stephen Hill could help us out with that  Tongue), Gerhart looked terribad out there, McLendon is a joke, our special teams coverage units couldn't cover, and this defense is below average without Cyprien out there. Like I've been figuring all along, this is probably a 6-10/7-9 team that will occasionally tease us by playing well against a better opponent before the inevitable collapse.

I hope the good stuff is built upon. Shorts' return will only help the passing game, and hopefully we get Cyp back next week. The center position is going to be a headache all year, I'm afraid. McLendon may actually be worse than Brewster, so Bowanko better hurry up and get ready or we're in deep dookie there.

Just pretend the second half never happened and it was a great game.

Maybe we still think it's the preseason. Our starters play like starters in the 1st half and then the back-ups come into play.

So in essence, we won 17-0!

they didn't. DRob was first off the bench when Gerhart went out

If we signed Mack, we win this game. Bortles starts & running game opens up holes. Meanwhile we're a bajillion dollars under the cap with no players to pay

Had a weird feeling the entire time that we would end up losing. Even when the score was 17-0... Marqise Lee missing that crucial catch for the 3rd down conversion in the 2nd quarter dropped our momentum. And then it completely dropped after we missed 2 FG's. I knew it was coming, it was only a matter of time.
